Polarity or Rainbow of existence?

"the presence or manifestation of  two opposite or contrasting principles or tendencies."  (taken from dictionary. i highlighted in red)

i'm not a linguistic - but if this is the meaning of POLARITY, it makes me wonder...
We hear a LOT nowadays about polarity in nations, religions, movements, medicines, education, politics, psychology  and more.  
"Polarity here.. polarity there...polarity  polarity everywhere"....
Suggesting that we,  the people of the world, are divided now more than ever.... 

How can it be  a polarity when more than two things are involved?

If there's more than two religions, nations, ideas, political parties, point of views, ways of education, arts, ways of living etc :

• doesn't it show us the RAINBOW  of our existence???
• doesn't it invite us to relish in the differences?
• doesn't it show us the richness of our being?
• doesn't it make the world a more interesting place to live in?
• doesn't it create  vast & ongoing opportunities for us to explore more of what and who we are?
• doesn't it show so clearly that we all -each and one of us- have a unique gift to the world NOW and HERE?

This is our time to open our eyes to SEE the colours of the rainbow of our existence.
This is our time to LISTEN to the different notes in the symphony of our existence. 
This is the time to BREATHE together-  inhale our variety, exhale our uniqueness and make the world OUR home - the home of all of us.
