Welcome 2017

i've known the students in the photo for about 14 ( or more?) years ago. i've met them in workshops, summer camps, conferences and conventions. They were little when we met. Not always keen to practice but always keen to play and make music together. Through music they became beautiful human beings. The character development was inseparable from the music developments. Sensitivity, listening skills, perseverance, concentration, presence and respect were bundled with the love and encouragement they found in their environment. i was touched to receive this picture ( which was sent when they realized i'll have to miss this year summer camp). They reminded me again that "With love - much can be accomplished" (Dr Shinichi Suzuki). May 2017 be a year of more love.
