We use music to learn about life. Children get to believe in themselves. They strive, prosper and become people with noble hearts.

My commitment to every child:
To teach piano from the heart.
To nurture the life force in every child.
To guide children to embrace their full potential.
To acknowledge and honour the parents' role in the learning process, while helping them create a conducive environment.
To create a space for each child to grow in a loving community, where s/he is fully seen, heard, accepted and respected.
To treat EVERY child as a unique human being with unlimited potential.
To provide ongoing training, guidance and support to parents in the studio.
To guide and mentor every student through the Suzuki Graduation Levels (all the way to completion, mastery and maturity).
To prepare each child for book graduation recitals that are significant sign-posts in their musical journey.
To provide opportunities for all students to play together ( which is why i have 4 pianos in my studio).
To provide opportunities to perform in concerts, recitals and outside studio events (workshops, conferences, music camps).
To strive for excellence in performance and mastery of each and every single level.
ALL CHILDREN HAVE TALENT
Adelaide workshop
All children learn to speak their mother tongue by listening and imitating their mother's voice.
Children learn to speak by being surrounded by language. Japanese children learn to speak Japanese; Italian children learn to speak Italian and so on.
The same process is used to teach music. Children are immersed by music from the start. They listen to high quality performance recordings and develop sensitivity, familiarity to the music they learn. Hence, the love of music is being nurtured.
The environment determines the success(or failure) of the child.
Mother Tongue Approach
Learning begins at an early age.
Each new skill is broken into small steps.
Each step is mastered before a new step is introduced.
The rate of progress is dictated by the child.
No drop outs.
Success yields success.
The child learns and grows through genuine praise and continuous support.
REVIEW & FOCUS
Perth workshop
Parents and children focus on HOW they play rather than WHAT they play. Tone quality is number one priority.
Just as children retain their vocabulary in a spoken language and gradually bring it to a level of unconscious competence, so they do to maintain their musical vocabulary -the repertoire.
"Beautiful tone - beautiful heart"
Review is fundamental . Students play the previous repertoire and refine their level of mastery ( the same as in acquisition of language).
THE ROLE of the PARENT
Melbourne Workshop
Parents are the most important link in the learning process .
Parents are the first and most influential people in the line of teachers and educators their children will encounter throughout their lives.
Parents deserve to have the best tools to facilitate the child's musical growth and whole development in other areas of life.
Parent Education Training is given to every parent who participates in our program.
