Yesterday I was invited to a tea -party to celebrate my friend's birthday. We were 5 women there, aged 37 to 67. All of us coming from different walks of life. All of us women, embracing womanhood, feeling the responsibility of being a woman in today's world. Again I was reminded of the immense power of women's gathering. We were communicating from the depth of our being. Allowing ourselves to be seen. Unveiling layers of "protection" that make us feel separated. We laughed. We cried. We shared life stories- our history -HERSTORY. We were present to each other AND to ourselves.

Parenting revolution ... from Zohara Rotem on Vimeo. i've known the students in the photo for about 14 ( or more?) years ago. i've met them in workshops, summer camps, conferences and conventions. They were little when we met. Not always keen to practice but always keen to play and make music together. Through music they became beautiful human beings. The character development was inseparable from the music developments. Sensitivity, listening skills, perseverance, concentration, presence and respect were bundled with the love and encouragement they found in their environment. i was touched to receive this picture ( which was sent when they realized i'll have to miss this year summer camp). They reminded me again that "With love - much can be accomplished" (Dr Shinichi Suzuki). May 2017 be a year of more love.
